Many AP institutions figure in top 100 NIRF-2021 rankings
In 'university' category, Andhra University got 24th rank, KL University, 35th rank and Sri Venkateswara University, 54th rank
VIJAYAWADA: Three universities of Andhra Pradesh have found place in top 100 institutions of the country in “overall” category of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) – 2021.
Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the list of higher learning institutions that figure within top positions in India Rankings of NIRF under several categories on Thursday.
In “overall” category, out of 100 ranks, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, secured 48th rank, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation University, Vaddeswaram, 69th rank and Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, 92nd rank.
In “university” category, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, got 24th rank, KL University, Vaddeswaram, 35th rank and Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, 54th rank.
In “engineering” category, KL University got 50th rank and College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam, secured 74th rank.
In “management” category, KL University got 38th rank and KREGA University, Chittoor, got 50th rank.
In “pharma” category, the ranks are AU College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Visakhapatnam – 30, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati – 44, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati – 54, Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical and Research, Anantapur – 55, Sri Venkateswara College of Pharmacy, Chittoor – 62 and Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guntur – 69.
In “college” category, Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada, got 34th rank. In “law” category, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam, got 28th rank. In “architecture” category, School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, got 8th rank. In “dental” category, Vishnu Dental College, West Godavari, got 23rd rank.
