Textbooks get QR code for app access

HYDERABAD: The bilingual textbooks have QR codes so that students can access lessons on the digital platform using the Diksha App. In hindsight, most of the lessons are not available and they are difficult to download. The digital version of the textbook has only the first three chapters.

In the bilingual textbook, it is printed that the content in the QR code can be read with the help of any smart phone and they are mostly in the form of videos, animations and slides. It is advised in the textbooks that students and teachers are expected to use the content available in the QR code and make their classroom interaction more conducive. The app offers lessons in English, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Gujarati and other regional languages for flexibility and convenience.
