Hyderabad: The Indian School of Business (ISB) has added another feather on its cap by bagging the number five rank in the Asia-Pacific region, and the first spot in India in the post graduate programme in management in a survey conducted by the Bloomberg Businessweek.

According to a press communique issued by the ISB, Bloomberg Businessweek surveyed 119 business schools worldwide for the 2021-22 rankings. They surveyed 6,640 students, 12,462 alumni, and 853 employers, globally. In addition to the overall ranking, schools are separately ranked on four component indexes of business school education - learning, networking, entrepreneurship and compensation - providing students more ways to evaluate.

In the ISB context, Bloomberg Businessweek surveyed students, alumni, and recruiters as part of the overall ranking process. In the Asia-Pacific region, ISB has been ranked second in learning, in networking, third in entrepreneurship and sixth in compensation.

Professor Madan Pillutla, dean, ISB said, "The Bloomberg Businessweek rankings is a welcome recognition of the great work that we do at the ISB and testament to the success of our students and alumni. The ISB philosophy of rigorous academic research with feedback from relevant stakeholders allows us to create a learning experience that produces leaders who bring about positive change in the world. I congratulate our students and thank the staff and faculty for the good ranking which is an outcome of their work.”
