VIJAYAWADA: “Diversity is important in the interdisciplinary approach to education as also for greater experiences in life,” students were told during the International Students’ Day celebrations at SRM AP Campus in Amaravati on Thursday.

The directorate of international relations and higher studies at SRM - AP celebrated the spirit of multiculturalism, diversity and traditions with students of more than 30 countries across the globe on International Students Day.

A centralized portal to access/share international opportunities, higher studies, training and support for students was launched by Surendra Tipparaju, director-data and Artificial Intelligence at Microsoft, recently.

SRMUAP vice chancellor Prof Manoj K Arora launched the annual magazine and International Students Handbook. He said there was no differentiation like domestic and international students when it came to acquiring knowledge and in updating one’s skills.

He urged students to adapt themselves to and adopt the swift-changing technologies to grab international opportunities.
