Hyderabad: A two-judge bench of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday allowed four overseas citizens of India to participate in the ongoing admission process for the undergraduate medical and dental courses.

The bench, comprising Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili and Justice Namavarapu Rajeshwar Rao, granted interim relief to Tekumala Vidita and three others. The petitioners questioned the notification of the Medical Health and Family Welfare department and Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences, which allowed only Indian nationals to seek admission, contending that it did not hold good in law.
