NIZAMABAD: The city of Nizamabad would witness inauguration of the Nizamabad IT Hub on August 9. IT minister K.T Ramarao would inaugurate the Hub on Wednesday.
The event will mark a milestone in the region's technological development and would open its doors to a host of new opportunities.
The Hub has already garnered considerable attention as 15 companies signed up to have their presence there and recruited their employees to start the operations.
The vibrant and dynamic ecosystem of the IT Hub is set to attract investments, generate employment and create a flourishing IT industry in Nizamabad, said Mahesh Bigala, BRS Global NRI coordinator.
In this context, TASK (Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge) organised a Job Fair on July 21. It provided a platform for aspiring individuals to explore the job opportunities in the IT sector.
Overseeing the developments of the IT Hub and various other projects in Nizamabad town, MLC Kavitha Kalvakuntla, Nizamabad urban MLA Ganesh Bigala and Nizamabad rural MLA Baji Govardhan visited the IT Hub.
Officials said the Nizamabad IT Hub's establishment aligns with the government's vision of fostering a thriving technology ecosystem across the state.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, BRS NRI Global coordinator Mahesh Bigala said techies, who want to stay with their parents in rural areas could work from here. “We are expecting multinational companies to start their business operations from the Nizamabad IT Hub soon,” he said.
To tap more local talent, another job mela will be conducted on August 29, Mahesh said.
IT Hub in Nizamabad is providing multiple options for employers and employees. “Earlier, we used conduct campus drives to select the candidates for IT jobs. Now we can hire them in and around Nizamabad. Due to family reasons, few campus-selected candidates dropped out of their jobs, but they can now work from their native place.
