APPSC Group-1 exam: 259 qualify for interview

Vijayawada: A total of 259 candidates have successfully qualified for the interview stage of the APPSC Group-1 Mains examination, which aims to fill 111 Group-1 posts. The efficient release of the results within a span of just 34 days reflects the commitment of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) towards a timely and transparent selection process. Notably, 5,035 candidates appeared for the mains examination held from June 3 to 10.

Scheduled to commence on August 2, the interviews will be conducted for the selected candidates. APPSC officials emphasised that the entire Group-1 examination process, under the diligent supervision of chairman Gautam Sawang and secretary J. Pradeep Kumar, was carried out with utmost care to ensure fairness. The evaluation and scrutiny programmes were conducted transparently with the assistance of CCTV cameras. The APPSC remains dedicated to completing the recruitment process and appointing the selected candidates by September, as previously announced.
