Kishan announces 2-day 'Kaushal Mahotsav' job mela

HYDERABAD: Union minister G. Kishan Reddy said on Friday that a two-day ‘Kaushal Mahotsav,’ a job mela for the Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency, will be held on June 3 and 4 at the National Skill Training Institute in Vidyanagar. People between the ages of 18 and 35 years can attend interviews for jobs in various sectors.

He said 220 companies cutting across sectors like pharma, banking and hospitality would be present at the job mela. “The event will be open to anyone who has failed Class 8 and those who have completed their post-graduation. For those who may not find employment during the mela, the institute will offer them skill development,” Kishan Reddy said, adding that every effort would be made to hold a similar event later and ensure employment for them.

The Centre has undertaken several measures to ensure skilling for job-seekers in a number of disciplines, he said. Those interested should register themselves for the job mela at kaushalmahotsav.nsdcdigital.org
