Celebrating a legend

The art community came together to celebrate the achievement of an artist that was not only long in coming, but one that K. Laxma Goud truly deserved — a Padma Shri.

Surrounded by former students and friends, Laxma Goud was the centre of attention at the informal gathering at Dhi Artspace in Ameerpet.

From being a student to a teacher to struggling to make it as an artist, Goud shared personal instances from his life.

Other artists, too, joined in and shared personal anecdotes with Goud and his contribution towards art.
