Get set for the wet effect
After combing the crown area, tie the hair into a ponytail.
The wet look effect — the return to the beach or out of the pool look is ruling the fashion industry at the moment. This hairstyle trend plays on the contrast between the roots of the hair and the tips. Ideal for wavy and curly hair, the wet look effect is generally an evening hairstyle.
To achieve a ponytail with the wet look effect follow these instructions: Apply gel on the roots and serum on the mid lengths and ends. You must have wet hair so that the gel can slide over. Separate the hair into two parts from the top of the ear to be able to distribute the gel equally.
After combing the crown area, tie the hair into a ponytail. If your hair is already on the greasy side, you can do up your dirty mane and add some high-shine products to it, making the most of the fact that your hair already kind of looks like it’s wet.
For a more textured wet finish, you can follow these steps:
First, towel dry your hair a bit. Then, prep any texturising Cream-Wax in your hands to warm it before distributing evenly for definition and a matte-satin finish. Lastly, style your hair into a French twist, go for the half wet /half dry look, or wear it all wet.
