As an artist, how important is it for you to be creative?
I think working with different mediums and techniques opens plenty of windows to create and experiment. It’s very important to keep the creative juices flowing at all times.

What are you working on currently?
I’m back to the basics of portrait making but more bolder with charcoal and pastels. I’m loving my messy hands.

Who is your biggest inspiration?
Bharat Thakur my master... in every sense of the word.

One awhose works you admire and why?
I can’t pin point one... it’s been a few artists that I admire. The latest is Andre Desjardins, his use of charcoal on figurative paintings. Bharat Thakur for being so bold and dynamic. Francis Bacon, Frida Kahlo, Picasso are others.

Your best creation?
Is yet to come.......

A myth you believe in?  Myths are ancient stories.
I don’t have place for them in my life.

An outfit that always comes to your rescue?
Torn jeans and t-shirt.

If you could be one fictional character who would you be and why?
Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings the white wizard always wise when present and strangely comforting even when predicting doom and destruction.

The one thing you have always wanted to do?
Travel around beautiful destinations with my painting materials and paint to live.

Your biggest pet peeve?
Hypocrites and cheats.
