Carrots
The name of the restaurant hints at what’s in store — healthy and clean grub. Carrots is an exclusively vegan eatery in nammooru that serves Italian and North Indian food. Well, we wouldn’t want to disclose everything about the place, but here’s a clue: A visit here would not make you regret eating meat or rich dairy products. This vegan restaurant is not just popular for well-thought-out cuisine and diet chaat, but also for its simplistic and cozy interiors. The cafe promotes organic farming, so most items on the menu are made out of farm fresh produce. What’s important is that the cafe does not advocate frying food. So, everything on the menu is either baked, boiled or just rustled up by tossing! The signature carrots dips (which come in different variants) are perfect accompaniments to the wedges, salads, stuffed zucchini, rice paper rolls and other delectable sides.

The gluten-free menu boasts of Choco Malt, a chocolate-flavoured ragi malt and other millet shakes. The thali comprises of a rice dish, jowar rotis and curries that change daily with mint chutney on the side. We liked the ridge gourd curry, peas curry and raw banana raita.
