Gurgaon restaurant makes world's longest vada pav
It was prepared in three days and was a 145-feet-long.
The vada pav has proved to be an all-time favourite street food item for years, especially in Maharashtra. So, it’s only fitting that there’s a day dedicated to celebrating its existence. In case you didn’t know, the 23rd of August is known as World Vada Pav Day. This year a restaurant in Gurgaon decided to pay the ultimate tribute to the staple desi snack by making the longest vada pav in the world.
The enormous vada pav was unveiled to the public at Vatika Business Park in Gurgaon. It was prepared in three days and was a 145-feet-long. In fact, people took an extra three hours to put it together after which it was served to 2500 people.
The extraordinary feat was carried by Nukkadwala which is a restaurant chain specialising in street food and is now being considered to be included in the Limca Book of World Records 2018 edition.
