Florida mother gives birth to 13-pound baby girl
The woman has previously delivered nine and 10-pound babies but was surprised to see one so big
Pregnancies are always tough because of the fear of complications for many mothers and especially if it is a larger-than-expected baby. However, a woman in the US gave birth to a baby who is larger than most newborns and while she has previously had big babies, this one was a clear surprise for her.
According to a media report, Florida-based mother Christine Corbitt gave birth to a unbelievable 13-pound newborn baby through C-section. While there have been previous cases of heavier children, the chances of having a really heavy child is really rare. The mother-of-two has previously had nine and 10-pound babies but was surprised when her newborn girl turned out to be heavier than expected that even the doctors said that it was like as if a toddler was born.
The baby Carleigh Brooke Corbitt is born healthy without complications and so is Christine whose blood sugar levels were checked to see if she was stable.
