Meditation for healthy body and mind, says TS Governor Tamilisai

HYDERABAD: The free medical health camp organized by the Keerthi Reddy Foundation and the Indian Red Cross Society holds immense significance in association with Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals held at NATCO Government Primary School, Borabanda, Hyderabad on 11th June,  2023.

The medical camp was attended by Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana & Hon'ble Lt. Governor of Puducherry, Mrs. Kavya Kishan Reddy, Chairperson of ABV Foundation, Dr N Goutham Rao, Hyderabad Central Dist BJP President, and the organizers Smt Juturu Keerthi Reddy, Founder, Keerthi Reddy Foundation and Dr Aluri Tushara, MD, Sri Sri Holistic hospital.

Free medical health camp provided a comprehensive range of free healthcare services to benefit the residents of Borabanda, particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Speaking about the program, Hon'ble Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan said that she’s feeling very happy about attending social service programmes during this busy schedule also. She advised to do the Yoga and Meditation for a healthy body and mind to face the challenges which come in life and she said, she feels very confident and much stronger in serving the people of Telangana and Puducherry as Governor of both by doing these activities daily. In the line of Physical health, mental health is also needed for a good body and mind, good mental health gives superior thoughts to do more in life towards society, Governor said. She praised Keerthi Reddy Foundation for their initiatives and the Red Cross Society of India for their service to the people during times and for providing Jan-aushadhi medicines to the people implemented by the PM of India.

In Interaction with the media people after the event she said, the Centre’s Ayushman Bharat health scheme should be incorporated with Arogya Sri, the State’s health scheme for the betterment of health services in the state of Telangana and said there should be no politics in serving the people of Telangana. She further advised improving the infrastructure in Govt medical hospitals and medical colleges in the state.

Further Juturu Keerthi Reddy, Founder of Keerthi Reddy Foundation, said the services offered in the camp include BP, Blood Sugar, 2D Echo, ECG tests, Eye Check-ups, General Medicine, General Physician, Bone Density test, Gynaecology & Maternal Care, ENT and Dental.

She said, in addition to these medical services, they are proud to extend support to tuberculosis (TB) patients from the Jubilee Hills constituency. TB patients who attended the camp received free TB nutrition kits. These kits are designed to provide essential nutritional support to individuals undergoing TB treatment, helping them strengthen their immune systems and improve their overall health outcomes.

The health camp was utilised by many unprivileged people in Borabanda and many from other places too.
