Video: This Indonesian woman lives with 1,500 pet spiders

There are people who have common pets like cats and dogs and there are others who have animals that can be hardly imagined in a household environment. An Indonesian woman has taken her love for animals to another level because she has spiders as pets and not just one for over a 1,000 of them.

According to a media report, 28-year-old Ming Cu has pets but not like any other because she keeps unusual pets in her house. The Indonesian has domesticated 1,500-odd spiders in her house and takes care of them just like any other animal. The woman in her late 20s started collecting them in 2010 as a hobby after she found a really colourful spider in her backyard. Ming has a proper setup and has spent over 55,000 dollars on the spiders over the last few years and even breeds them.

Interestingly, she has also started a website called Spider Lover Pet Shop to sell the unusual pets online and has many like-minded people looking to purchase the tarantulas.
