A large number of people all over the world love their pets and are able to access ways to take care of pooches and felines with information available thanks to the internet. Technology has touched almost every aspect of our lives from travelling to interaction and intimacy; and now it is also making it easier to find a furry companion.

A new app is actually allowing people to adopt and raise their own cats simply through their smartphone. Meow! ARCat uses augmented reality to enable people to have a virtual pet without worrying about landlords, allergies or their lifestyle.

While the cat can also interact with your real surroundings, the downside is that you can’t cuddle with the adorable feline since it exists only on the phone screen. You can take it to the park, teach new tricks, feed it and dress it up as it responds to your voice when you call it by name.
