Min temperature falls to 13.5º C in Hyderabad
Weather bureau puts out two-day cold alert
Hyderabad: Night temperatures in the city plunged to 13.5ºC, the lowest ever recorded in November since 2012.
The normal minimum temperature for November is 18.9ºC. The local weather bureau has issued a warning of cold weather conditions in Adilabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad and Nalgonda district for November 11 and 12.
Meteorologists said cold conditions prevailed over many parts of the state on Thursday. The forecast for the city for Friday is was partly cloudy sky, mist or haze likely during morning hours and maximum and minimum temperatures of around 31ºC and 13ºC respectively.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature dipped in New Delhi. “The minimum temperature settled at 11.5ºC, three notches below normal, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 30ºC, normal for this time of the year,” a Met official said. Delhi had recorded a minimum of 14ºC on Wednesday.
