Whenever there’s a conversation about male sexual health involving their genitals, chances are high that the question of size might pop up at some point. While it has been said several times that size of one’s member has little to do with sexual pleasure and performance, it still remains a major topic of discussion.

A known fact is that the state of mind and confidence of a person has a lot to do with how they perform in bed, and a study now says that how men feel about the size of their penis does make a difference.

The research published in the Archives of Sexual Behaviour has mentioned that men who are happy about the size of their genitals are likely to get more sex and perform better. The study also found out that a surprising number of men are satisfied with their members.

Despite penis size being a major cause for body shaming, with small penis jokes not being as much a hush hush affair as discussions over sexual health, 86% of 4000 men surveyed were happy with the size of their penis. 64% of those were pleased about the shape and a good 61% were positive about the girth during erection.

The findings further reflected that 73.5% of those who were dissatisfied with their penis were sexually active, while 86.3% of those who were happy about their members said they were sexually active.
