Art
The Pier 2 Art Centre — Every corner here is full of talent and everything is unique. The abandoned warehouse transformed into an art centre due to the persistence of local artists. A perfect place for tourists to come and enjoy fine art with the collusion of an old area and new fine arts collective.

Peace
FoGaung Shan Buddha Museum — This is one of the top 10 landmarks of Taiwan. I lit a lamp and prayed for harmony and joy in all our lives! I also took a few moments to thank the universe for all that I have.

Shopping
Fengjia Night Market — Shopping is always exciting for a tourist like me, however, Taiwan’s largest night market made me inquisitive with the huge variety of food, beverage, goods and services. As you can see, it was quite happening on a weekend night. This market gave me quite an insight into Taiwan’s street style... very chic, must say. Must try the local cuisine and soda stalls.

Tourist vibes
Rainbow Military Housing — Mark this place on your bucket list for a must-visit. The rainbow village was created by a former soldier. He painted the houses to save them from demolition. Today, it has become one of the major tourist site seeing spot. Tourists should bring their cameras to capture beautiful artwork which includes birds, animals and people!

Post card
Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village is the largest outdoor museum in Taiwan for displaying traditional homes and architecture of the Taiwanese’s nine principal Aboriginal tribes. Every picture here makes for a perfect post card back home. Key attractions include the Rock of Oponohu, Pestle Music Theatre, Indian Totems and the Cherry Blossom Path.

Architecture
Lan Yang Museum — This museum has an intriguing tilt to it and is a must-see for shutterbugs! It attempts to convey the harmony and symbiosis between mankind and nature, and association between mankind and history. There are three floors that are categorised into the mountains, plains and ocean levels, showcasing what the residents of Yilan take pride in. The culture and way of life is vividly represented through artworks and images.
