Muslim milkman donating milk for Durga Puja sets example for communal harmony

Lucknow: Several instances of the communal harmony and secular fabric of the country coming under attack by several groups are being increasingly reported around our diverse country, as it has given rise to a grave situation.

But amid all the negativity and fear, some people come as rays of hope for the society, through their exemplary actions contributing to communal bonhomie. Daulat Ali Ghosi from Lucknow is one such gentleman who is bring praised for his gesture.

The milkman is delivering 60 litres of milk for making kheer that’ll be offered to goddess Durga during the ongoing festivities. Visitors at the La-Touche Road Puja Sangsad will be getting a taste of the kheer with a flavour of communal harmony.

The authorities of the puja committee also welcomed the donation by Ghosi who said that he did this routinely for every festival in the city, but the response for this was overwhelming.

Ghosi who constantly works for communal harmony has also aided the creation of a group that saves cattle who have gone astray and fall into wells or ditches. He said that if his donation contributes to religious unity, he will keep doing it.
