Twitteratis mock 14.5% fat tax' imposed by Kerala government
Eating junk food no more cheap!
Who would have thought that binging over fast food would become an expensive affair?
But just recently the CPI(M)-led LDF government in Kerala has imposed “fat tax” on junk foods like burger, pizza, cheese rolls, doghnuts etc which are sold in posh eateries.
So now whoever wants to savour on these dishes will have to pay a tax of 14.5% as announced by the finance minister Thomas Isaac.
Not many were happy with this news and for sure Twitteraties didn’t take this news well.
Here’s how they reacted:

Kerala may not be doing enough about waste management, but with the #FatTax, they'll sure take care of waist management.
