Titanic II all set to sail in two years

The Titanic will be making a comeback soon – that too in real life instead of a movie. Titanic II is an exact replica of the world’s famous ‘unsinkable ship’ – which sank on its maiden voyage after hitting an iceberg – and will be ready to take passengers in 2018. Of course, this ship will also be about four metres wider and has enough lifeboats unlike its ill-fated predecessor.
The $600 million ambitious project has been undertaken by tycoon and politicial Clive Palmer, who is the owner of the luxury cruise company, Blue Star Line. The nine-deck ship will feature all the modern evacuation procedures, satellite controls, digital navigation and radar systems that should be on 21st century ship, according to the Belfast Telegraph.
The luxury cruise will be able to accommodate 2400 passengers and even have the same categories of passengers – from the exclusive first class to the very basic third class – which is similar to the Titanic movie.
