Man trolled for tweeting diaper request to Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu
The railway ministry was quick to respond and assist but tweeple thought otherwise.
The Modi government has been facing criticism and has also been praised in the past couple of years, but two of his ministers have been impressing people with their interactive and effective manner of helping out people.
Twitter has become a vehicle for External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to know about people’s problems and reassure them, as it has also led to their rising popularity with people praising them on the social media site.
While people have been able to procure food and wheelchairs on trains, a man got an unexpected reaction for asking for diapers for his child. The passenger Prabhakar S Jha was slammed by tweeple when he tweeted his request to Suresh Prabhu.
Even as the railway ministry was quick to ask for his PNR and help out, other users started bashing him and said that he was being careless and was misusing the service.
@jhaprabhakar Kindly share your Complete (PNR) Journey details & Contact number So that we can assist you.

Meanwhile some did try defending him
@Ashish0312 no, I'm not justifying his tweet for a diaper. But amenities can be part of a trains journey.. @India_Policy @sureshpprabhu

@rahulofcoer @India_Policy I don't think Railways will provide for makeup kits and all. Diaper is necessary otherwise it will be a mess

This isn’t the first time someone asked for a diaper on a train, nor is it a new thing for people to bash others on social media, but was asking for a diaper for a child to maintain her health and hygiene on a train really too much?
