Dhinchak Pooja taken off YouTube
Aside from Dilon Ka Scooter, all of the cringe pop singer's songs have been taken off.
Internet sensation and a cringe pop icon, Dhinchak Pooja took the Internet by storm and has a strong fan following —including Sonu Nigam — for her auto-tuned songs. But earlier this week, her fans were in for a surprise (pleasant or unpleasant, you decide) when her videos were removed from YouTube.
The singer, shot to fame with songs like Selfie Maine Leli Aaj and Swag Wali Topi, but a Youtube user called Kathappa Singh has apparently reported her songs on Youtube for copyright violation. The last time we checked, her latest video, Dilon ka Shooter, was still available for viewing.
According to YouTube policy, a video can be taken down if one is featured in the video without their consent. Buzz is that Kathappa may have filed for copyright violation since he was a part of the background. We tried contacting Pooja for her version of the story, but our phones and messages went unanswered. YouTube’s spokesperson also refused to comment when we asked for their version of the story.
