Photo accidentally sent to wrong number ends up raising $10,000 for sick boy
The photo of a woman in a gorgeous gown was sent to a father of six instead of her friend.
When Syd accidentally sent a photo of herself in a stunning gown to a wrong phone number, she had no idea what she was about to set in motion.
The photo that was meant for a friend to review was sent to a father of six in Tennessee (US), The Sun reported.
Instead of just letting her know she had the wrong number, the man, real estate agent Tony Wood, decided to make her day.
"I believe this message was intended for someone else," he wrote back according to The Sun. "My wife isn't home, so I couldn’t get her opinion, but the kids and I think you look stunning in your dress! You should definitely go with that one!"
The message was accompanied with a photo of his children giving two thumbs up.

Syd's friend Mandi Miller shared the story of the sweet encounter on social media. When people learned that one of the children was undergoing chemotherapy to treat his leukaemia, many made a huge contribution to the family's GoFundMe page to go towards his treatment.
Hello! Apparently you have made my children Twitter famous! My 2nd youngest (not pictured, he was at chemo clinic) has a FB page for his fight against Leukemia and one of our Prayer Warriors recognized the children! Btw, my wife agreed that the dress looked great! God Bless!

Thanks to a lot of kind strangers the Wood family managed to raise over $10,000 for four-year-old Kaizler. The outpouring of support has been overwhelming for the family and they are very touched.
