Leaner, meaner Men in Blue
From smart new jerseys to well groomed stubbles, the Indian Team looks ready to take on the opposition in the T20 World Cup.
They may have flopped with the bat on the big opening night of the T20 World Cup, but on Tuesday night the India team had the lean, mean and hungry look that enhanced the “New Blue” collarless jerseys they were wearing.
It was not only the uniforms that stood out. The Men in Blue looked neat with most opting for the stubble look.
Leading the stubble camp was Indian cricket’s blue-eyed boy Virat Kohli, while skipper Dhoni sported his customary salt and pepper growth.
And while Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma have been embracing the stubble for some time now, the well-groomed facial hair of R. Ashwin, not usually associated with fashion statements, came as a surprise.
While they might not have won the match, the team sure look fit and hungry for their next encounter.
