Thanks to the generosity of kind strangers a homeless couple who have been together for 30 years are finally married, the Daily Mail reported.

The heart-warming wedding of Llewellyn Jeneker and Cecilia Absolom took place under a motorway bridge in Cape Town, South Africa.

Their wedding was officiated by a local pastor, which was witnessed by a 100 guests including their 12-year-old son Dylan.

All this was made possible thanks to the kindness of a woman named Jill Leftha and city council. Leftha even donated the wedding dress for the bride for her special day.

"I was touched and I am very happy for them. They deserve to feel and look beautiful," Leftha is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

The newlyweds have been living in a city council run 'safe space, which provides beds for close to 230 homeless people.

The couple now hope to live as a family in a place they can call home.
