Watch: Autistic boy's super-excited response when asked out to prom

Jonathan, who’s on the autism spectrum, got the biggest surprise of his life when his cheerleader friend Mikal Bartosik asked him to be her date for the upcoming prom at school.

Mikal posed the question on a cake, which she showed to Jonathan at the school cafeteria. Needless to say, Jonathan was over the moon. He even gave his special friend a big hug to thank her for her sweet gesture.

Mikal revealed that she would be “going all out” for this date and was looking forward to the party, according to Palm Beach Post.
