Fly high: Entrepreneurship day ahead of us
Becoming an entrepreneur can make or break your future.
Everyone of us has a wish to do something of our own. Becoming an entrepreneur can make or break your future. It involves risks, but today is a good day to consider whether you want to go out on a limb to bring excitement and new experiences into your life.
Entrepreneurship day, is ahead of us. Even if you are working somewhere attending a weekend programme can be a good starting point. A friend of mine, suddenly widowed, started an annual exhibition for little boys’ clothes.
It was held just once a year, but was a great success. A neighbour loved baking, she started taking orders. Thanks to her website, she is very busy now.
So stick your neck out and explore the grand new opportunities around you.
You could attend or organise a meeting of entrepreneurs. You could talk to your local banker to organise this contact or reach out to your local business school and interest them in the idea.
Spread the word through your own ways: Announce the World Entrepreneurs’ Day at social networking sites, your webpages, your newsletter and at your workplace. Teach your kids about the qualities of entrepreneurship and educate them about its pros and cons.
Don Moody, founder and CEO of Word World once wrote, “I would love to be a 30-year-old in India or Brazil right now. There’s so much going on with the economy…there are huge opportunities in energy, transportation, health care…” So, what’s stopping you from being out there? Get up and get going.”
