When citizens took matters in their hands

Road safety in India is a huge issue. With lakhs of people dying in road accidents every year, police of every city is also taking stringent steps to avoid any mishap. Recently, Mumbai Police pulled up actor Varun Dhawan for taking a selfie with a fane in middle of traffic and asking him to be a more responsible Mumbaikar.

However, soon after the actor apologised to the Mumbai Police, saying that he did so as his car was not moving, twitteratis started suggesting a few more names to the Mumbai Police, who they felt should be fined for their irresponsible behaviour while on road.

Netizens pointed out towards the recent performance by Ranveer Singh at the store launch of a famous sports brand, when he became the reason for a traffic jam on the busy streets of Mumbai.

Recently, Ranveer danced on top of his car, causing a traffic jam in Mumbai.

They even reported many incidents where our politicians came partly out of their cars, during rallies. Photos of the cops themselves not wearing helmet while riding, were also shared on Twitter.
