People coming together to help a homeless man seems like a noble thing to do, except things aren’t always exactly as they seem to be. What seemed to be a social media campaign to make life better for a veteran has now taken a shocking turn.

Johnny Bobbitt was in the news months back for spending his last money to help a woman get gas. This was followed by the woman and her boyfriend setting up an online fund to make life better for Bobbitt which attracted thousands of donations.

The couple promised to spend the $400000 they raised on getting a home for the veteran and setting him up with a lawyer. But now it has been revealed that while the couple spent half of the money, they haven’t let Bobbitt touch the rest as he has landed up back on the streets.

Although they didn’t show any record, the couple said they spent the half on care for him. Meanwhile they refused to let him have the rest of the money saying that he isn’t responsible enough for it.

Meanwhile the site GoFundMe if working for lawyers to workout if the funds have been mismanaged by the couple. Instead of a house, the duo bought him a camper on the woman’s name and asked him to leave it after accusing him of stealing from them.

They sold the camper and SUV while Bobbitt didn’t get any money on the sales. At the same time the couple has enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and Los Angeles and have purchased a BMW all of which they claim to have bought from their salary.
