Some of you may know it and some may not. But the fact that Google comes out with creative tricks for you is something amazing.
A stalker, a nerd, a dictionary, a tour guide, a therapist, an encyclopaedia and now a trick master. This is none other than the famous search engine – Google. Of all their fun coding tricks in the past, Google is at it again! It recently released a new trick with reference to Marvel’s bad guy – Thanos. So the next time you’re on Google check out these kick-ass tricks.
Once you get onto the main page, type Thanos on the search tool, click on the gauntlet and prepare to be flabergasted. This magical trick on Google has left several users gobsmacked. Rohan Joseph, an ardent Marvel fan said, “I’ve seen this trick on Google and I found out about it through social media. It was pretty amazing because it had the same concept of the move with reference to Thanos’ power. It’s a really cool idea and it’s catchy because everyone knows about the movie and about Thanos snapping his fingers.”
Speaking about how such a trick is actually created Sudhanshu Chauhan, a senior backend engineer explains, “When you type Thanos on the search bar and click on the gauntlet, Javascript creates an event and this is ultimately portrayed by Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) as it detects and produces the stylish output.”
The other trick that Google mesmerised people with was the ‘Barrel Roll’. While you are on Google, search “Do the barrel roll” and let Google do the rest! Gokul Shekar, a sales director and a frequent Google user said, “One of my friends randomly told me to type ‘Do the barrel roll’ on Google search and for a second I felt my head spinning. I found this so cool and couldn’t stop myself from doing it again.”
