Undercover camera catches landlord offering sex for rent to woman
This is just one known case in an increasingly alarming trend.
A landlord in the UK has been caught red handed by an undercover camera offering "sex for rent" to a woman, the Metro reported.
His advertisement on Craigslist for a £650 per month home stated tenant would get a "reduced deposit/rent arrangement" for "alternative payments", the report stated.
Reporter Siân Thomas had a meeting with the man in a restaurant to discuss the shocking terms.
"I don’t want to suggest anything that makes you run a mile but I want to help you out," the landlord allegedly said in the video, the Metro reported. Adding, "I don’t know if you have heard of a sort of a friends with benefits sort of arrangement."
He told Thomas he would want sex one a week. This arrangement is only legally considered a crime what's there is an actual deal.
The meeting was video taped because it is part of an investigation carried out by ITV Wales programme Ein Byd for S4C, Channel Four in Wales.
Once the man found out what was going on he begged them not to air and even wrote them an email to not expose him.
Currently in the UK there are no prosecutions over "sex for rent" because it has just recently become an alarming trend.
