Shouting slogans on the lines of freedom, he put forth his idea of freedom. \"We demand freedom in India, not from India. We want freedom from poverty, bureaucracy, corruption etc,\" he said.
Toeing the lines of democracy and dissent, he said that though he might be at logger heads with ABVP politically and ideologically, he wouldn't prefer to consider the aforementioned student group his enemy. \"We will fight ABVP through constitutional means,\" he said.
