2-hr Power Cut in a Few Areas for Repair Work

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited(TSSPDCL) has initiated its power supply network maintenance drive in preparation for the summer season, announcing arrangements for the inspection and maintenance of distribution transformers and 11KV sub-stations, as well as the necessary cutting of tree branches within the city.

According to the power utility, these operations will result in a two-hour power supply disruption for consumers in designated localities across the Medchal, Rangareddy, and Metro zones of TSSPDCL.

Maintenance works are scheduled to commence at 10 am and conclude at 4 pm on Thursday.

In the Metro zone, areas like Banjara Hills, Greenlands, Azamabad, Mehdipatnam, Saifabad, Asmangadh, Begum Bazaar, Charminar, Bowenpally, Paradise, and Secunderabad Cantonment will undergo maintenance.

For the Medchal zone, maintenance works are planned for Jeedimetla, Kukatpally, Keesara, and Sainikpuri divisions. In the Rangareddy zone, power supply disruptions during the maintenance works will affect Kondapur, Gachibowli, Ibrahimbagh, Rajendranagar, Saroornagar, Champapet, and Ibrahimpatnam.
