Shabbir asks Congress cadres to continue hard work for victory in LS polls
The TPCC PAC convenor asked party leaders and cadres to counter false allegations being made by opposition parties
NIZAMABAD: TPCC political affairs committee (PAC) convener and Nizamabad Urban assembly constituency in-charge Mohammad Ali Shabbir called upon party workers to continue working hard for the victory of Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He appreciated them for their tireless work that brought Congress to power in Telangana. “You should continue your work and bring Congress to power in the country,” he stated at an Athmiya Sammelanam that the party organised here on Tuesday.
Congress MLAs P. Sudarshan Reddy, R. Bhupathi Reddy, former minister Mandava Venkateshwar Rao, former MLC Akula Lalitha, TPCC working president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, former mayor Dharmapuri Sanjay and city Congress president Kesha Venu were among those present.
Speaking at the meeting, Shabbir Ali said of the six guarantees, the Congress government has already implemented the Mahalaxmi free bus ride for women and the ₹10 lakh Rajiv Gandhi Arogyasri scheme. Remaining four guarantees will be implemented within 100 days of Congress coming to power, he assured.
The TPCC PAC convenor asked party leaders and cadres to counter false allegations being made by opposition parties.
He said developmental works in Nizamabad will be taken up on priority basis.
“We will discuss local issues with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy soon,” he stated.
