APSRTC MD Warns of Fake WhatsApp Number

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Managing Director (MD), Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, issued a public alert on Saturday regarding a fake WhatsApp number impersonating him.

An imposter has been using Rao's photo as their WhatsApp display picture and making calls using the number 7033400216. The MD has lodged a complaint with Vijayawada Cyber Crime Police.

Rao urged all public officials and citizens to be cautious of calls and messages from this fraudulent number. He advised everyone to refrain from responding to any communication originating from 7033400216 and to block the number immediately.
