5 Kids Hurt in Explosion While Trying to Make Bombs Watching Youtube

According to locals, the children collected matchsticks and gunpowder, attempting to detonate a battery by sparking it. This led to a huge explosion. The locals rushed to the scene and quickly transported the injured children to the hospital for treatment.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar stated that the children were influenced by a YouTube video. They collected gunpowder from firecrackers and matchsticks, then placed it in a torch while trying to create new firecrackers. During this process, a large explosion occurred, injuring two of the children. He noted that no ammunition was found at the scene, which is why the explosion’s intensity was not higher. The children sustained burns to their hands and faces, but all are out of danger.
