Bikers Snatch Gold Chain from Woman

Hyderabad: Two unidentified bikers snatched a gold chain weighing, around 2.5 tola, from a housewife under the Rajendranagar police station limits. The incident occurred on Sunday night when the victim, G. Padma, got down from an autorickshaw and was walking towards her house in Budvel, police said.

After following the victim, they snatched the chain, pushed her on the
ground and fled on their bike. The locals gathered after they heard the victim shouting and tried to catch them but the snatchers disappeared in a narrow lane.

The victim suffered injuries in a scuffle while resisting the snatchers. She was treated in a local hospital. Later, she lodged a complaint with the Rajendranagar police. The police are examining the CCTV cameras installed on the road to identify the snatchers.
