6 held for killing security guard in Domlur
While four accused are from Srirampura, two are from Tamil Nadu.
Bengaluru: A six-member gang was arrested for murdering a security guard Ram Charitra Mukhiya (55) on the premises of a company in Domlur 2nd Stage on March 27.
The prime accused, Manjunath (34), was a service engineer at the same company, Actis Technologies, where the victim worked. The other accused are Manjunath’s associates Balamurugan, 22, Partiban Raj, 20, Raju, 31, Vijay, 35 and Ravichandran, 31. Two others, Arun and Suresh, are on the run, the police said. While four accused are from Srirampura, two are from Tamil Nadu.
Despite his involvement in the crime, Manjunath continued to work at the office for four days and went on leave from the fifth day. As there was no forced entry, the police suspected the role of insiders. A special team was formed and it arrested the prime accused, Manjunath.
