Village Revenue Officer held for demanding Rs 15,000 bribe

The bribe was for an official job regarding getting the pattadar book issued in the name of the complainant on an ancestral land.

Hyderabad: A village revenue officer Bandela Kishtaiah at the Suraram cluster, Kaleshwaram, was arrested for demanding a bribe of Rs 15,000 from the complainant,

Medal Uday Kumar, a farmer. The VRO demanded a bribe through his PA Erla Shankar, who was caught red handed with the bribe.

The bribe was for an official job regarding getting the pattadar book issued in the name of the complainant on  an ancestral land.
