Couple drowns babies, kills self
Quddus Pasha and his wife Fathima had a quarrel following which they decided to kill their two daughters and to end their lives by suicide
HYDERABAD: A couple killed their two young daughters and later ended their lives by suicide at Adibatla late on Monday.
Their bodies were fished out from a lake during the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to police inspector of Adibatla P. Nareder, a man identified as Quddus Pasha, 37 and his wife Fathima, 28, residents of Santosh Nagar area, had a quarrel around 9 pm on Monday night following which they decided to kill their two daughters Mehak Begum, 9, and Firdous Begum, 6, and to end their lives by suicide.
“While the bodies of Pasha and Mehak were fished out at night itself, the mother and the younger daughter’s bodies were found around 5 am,” said the official, adding that their bike was found parked by the lake.
A case was booked under Sections 302 (murder) of the IPC and 174 (suspicious death) of the CrPC. All the four bodies were shifted for post mortem examination
