Notorious chain snatcher caught in Madhapur

Police said that he snatched four chains, one in Uppal and three in Madhapur.

Prima facie, the investigators suspect that the persons involved in the offence could be experienced violators who, in the past, might have been held for similar offences in other areas, so they're trying to match the photographs recovered from the CCTV footage installed in the vicinity of the crime scene with the photographs of such offenders.

Hyderabad: Cyberabad police nabbed a notorious chain snatcher in Madhapur and recovered 100 grams of gold from him. Police said Poola Sudhir Kumar is an accused in cases at Jeedimetla and Petbash-eerabad police stations and was out on bail. Police said that he snatched four chains, one in Uppal and three in Madhapur. In Madhapur, he and his friend Ramesh robbed a housewife and took her five tola gold chain. In Uppal, with the help of Ramesh, he snatched another woman’s two tola gold chain. 

In Madhapur, Sudhir robbed a 23-year-old woman of her one tola gold chain along with his friend Sravan while she was walking to her hostel. In another incident he and his aide Bhaskar snatched a 50-year-old housewife’s two tola gold chain.

Police arrested Sudhir while he was moving suspiciously on a bike.
