Adilabad: Son hires killers to murder dad

Adilabad: The Adilabad rural police arrested Gedem Nithin, 26, on Saturday for killing his father Govardhan, 55, an LIC employee, in their house in Teacher’s Colony.

The accused were identified as Nithin, Madhavi Lingeshwar and Gedem Pintu of Jainad mandal and Dadanje Amar, Kumre Sahir, Mesram Ramu of Maharashtra. Two among them are absconding.

According to rural C-I, Nithin was adopted and was jobless. When his father objected, Nithin developed a grudge and hatched a plan to eliminate him using professionals. Goverdhan was killed on June 25.
