According to the statement of Manjusha, she took the body on the bike of Aneesh before dumping it in the well after tying hollow bricks on to the body. This was against the earlier statement of the woman who at first took a stand that the girl had committed suicide after a quarrel with her.
It is suspected that the murder was committed on June 11.The girl was missing for over two weeks. The relatives did not at first submit a complaint as her mother told them that she was going in search of her daughter in Tirupur as she had elo-ped with someone. After that Manjusha fled with Aneesh. As there was no communication even aft-er days, relatives approa-ched the police who managed to track the duo from Tamil Nadu.
The girl used to live with Manjusha at a rented house after she had been separated from his husband Rajendran.
