Hyderabad: A former IT employee currently associated with QNet reportedly committed suicide in a room in Madhapur on Tuesday night. According to police, who registered a case of suspicious death, his family members alleged that he had suffered losses after investing in QNet. They said this could have led to depression, prompting him to take the extreme step.
According to Madhapur police, Adapa Aravind, 31, a native of Srikakulam, was a distributor associated with QNet. He worked in Accenture, an IT company in the city, until 2017. He quit the job and got associated with the Hong Kong-based company. He was living in a room along with a friend in Madhapur area. Police said that on Tuesday night, when his friend returned from work, Aravind did not open the door. With the help of neighbours, the door was broken open only to see the former techie hanging from the ceiling with a cloth.
Police shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy and later handed it over to his kin on Wednesday.
