National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday filed a charge sheet against two accused persons for their involvement in conspiracy and espionage activities with an intention to wage war against India.

Bhopal: The NIA on Sunday conducted raids in Madhya Pradesh to bust an Islamic State (IS) module. It was part of nationwide raids, sources said.

The NIA raided two places in Shahjahanpur and Gandhinagar in Bhopal and took two people, Zubair Mansoori and Hafiz Anus, into custody. Zubair teaches at the Tazul madrasa here.

The NIA also conducted raids at Nurpura Colony in Silbani in neighbouring Raisen district and detained four persons.

In UP, a madrasa student from Karnataka, Farukh, was held by the NIA for suspected terror links from Deoband.
