Malkajgiri: Man gets imprisonment for raping daughter

 Hyderabad: The Special Court for Pocso Cases at Malkajgiri sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for five years, a 34-year-old man from Malkajgiri for raping his daughter in 2019. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on him. The accused was then working as a daily wage labourer. His wife ran a tea stall and would come home late, leaving their three daughters with the father. In May 2019, she returned home to find her second daughter, then aged around 11, missing. When searched in the house, she found her husband attacking their daughter. He fled when she raised an alarm. The wife lodged a police complaint and the man was arrested and sent to judicial remand.
