ACB books revenue staffers in bribery case

Kurnool: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday conducted a search at the Yemmiganur tahsildar's office and booked two revenue staffers for accepting a bribe.

Kotekal VRO Srinivas and junior assistant Srinivasulu are accused of accepting Rs 1,500 from a complainant, Jayaram, who had sought a valuation certificate from them.

The ACB officials apprehended the suspects while they were in the process of accepting the bribe.

A case has been registered against the duo and they have been shifted for investigation.
